Fast Electric Jets The Imperial R/C Club in Mulberry, Florida initiated an electric jet fly-in this February (2019). One of the events was a radar clocked speed competition. A few of us from BVM showed up to support their efforts and we brought a couple of "Fast Jets". Rob Lynch, took home the fastest jet with an EVF 12S powered vintage Electra clocked at 218 mph and BV showed the capabilities of the eBandit on 16S power with a 202 mph effort. We used a shallow dive from a 180� position to accelerate. This can be accomplished safely with experienced pilots. Rob's son Dillon assisted. The weather was cooperative with only a slight crosswind and as you can see, a perfect sky. The scattered clouds allowed unlimited visibility.
From: Gregg Fullington Hi Heather: Here is a photo of Dave Shoffner with his new MiG 15. He had a very successful maiden Aug 23. I had the pleasure to assist him with the JR12X set up and his first two flights. It's powered by the EVF ~3~ 12S and TP 7700's. He also has the servo driven speed brakes and the scale main struts. Thanks Bob, Dustin, Last weekend we had the scale masters qualifiers at our field in California. I entered two categories: Pro am pro with the demo Fury and Advanced with my F100F. I won both!!! People were super impressed with the Fury. No one was expecting that an EDF could compete in a scale event. But as always, lots of practice, and being comfortable with the typical cross winds you find in any contest, paid out at the end. This year we are having the Scale Masters finals at my local field, so I will be competing. Need to decide if I will do Pro Am pro or Advanced. So, as always, BVM jets are at the top of all the scale events. Thanks for your for all you do to keep us flying (and winning!!!) Gerardo Diaz

Dustin Wow, what a performance ! My Maverick is a new plane. It flew great. I followed the instructions and with the support of the BVM team you can only expect great results. I am in the process of placing the Mav in the shipping box. I am going to WINIMAC ! Jets over the Heartland with my new ELECTRIC JET ! Nothing but spectacular ! Gracias Amigo ! Joe Dwek lives in Brussels, Belgium and is an avid E.D.F. enthusiast. He is modifying this Aggressor II to house a BVM EVF 4010.
Here is the F-80 on the fly by at the Joe Nall '08 event. We fly a few laps with the tanks on, then Jettison them for high speed passes. Kent Nogy flew the brand new F-80 at Top Gun in the Pro Am class. The 5 1/2 minute competition flights consumed one half of the 6400 mah capacity. The power unit is the EVF 6215 with (3) Flight Power EVO 30c 5s 2p 6400 mah matched Saddle Cells. The Misawa wing tip tanks are jettisoned early in the flight for a scored maneuver. The airframe is then extremely "slippery" and consumes minimum amperage to cruise between maneuvers. It is amusing that one of the flight judges downgraded the Fast Fly-By maneuver as being too fast. The A.F.S. (Advanced Fabrication System) kit has been extensively modified for EVF power.
